COMPOSITION:
Each tablet of Bon-One contains 0.5µg of alfacalcidol.

INDICATIONS:
Bon-One is indicated for the alleviation of symptoms (such as hypocalcemia, tetania, ostalgia, osseous lesions) associated with vitamin D metabolism, abnormalities in vitamin D, chronic renal failure, hypoparathyroidism, rickets and osteomalacia. Osteoporosis.

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION:
Dosage should be varied according to results of strict monitoring of the serum calcium concentration of the patient. Adults: The usual adult dose is from 0.5 to 1.0µg of alfacalcidol taken orally once daily. Children: The dose for children is from 0.01 to 0.03µg/kg of alfacalcidol taken orally once daily.

PRECAUTIONS:
Safe use of this drug during pregnancy has not been established in humans. Periodic measurements of serum calcium concentration should be made during treatment. If hypercalcemia occurs, the drug should be discontinued immediately. Caution should be observed when co-administering with drugs containing magnesium.

ADVERSE EFFECTS:
Nausea, Vomiting, Headache, Weakness, Dizziness, Drowsiness, Palpitations, Itchiness, Hoarseness.

HOW SUPPLIED:
Bon-One 0.5µg tablets are available in a blister pack of 4x10’s.
